VVIP
$3,800-20,000 per night
Twenty-three to sixty-five metres. Space per guest rather than guests per metre, crew ratios near one to one.
Speedboat
$680-4,800 per day
Day charters rather than liveaboards. Nine to sixteen metres, no cabins, back in Labuan Bajo by evening.
Starting rates for the whole vessel, surveyed September 2026. A further 40 vessels quote on request. Park fees, alcohol, diving and gratuities are extra.
Three messages, not three weeks
You send dates, group size and what matters most. We come back with the vessels genuinely free and what each publishes. You pick a direction and the enquiry goes to the operator, who quotes you directly and issues the contract. That is the whole process, and nothing before the contract commits you to anything.
If a charter is the wrong answer for your group and budget, you will be told that instead.
Included on every charter
The baseline across the Labuan Bajo fleet, whatever tier you book.
A dedicated crew
Captain, chef and deck crew as a minimum. Larger vessels carry eight to fifteen including divemasters.
All meals aboard
Three a day cooked on board, with water, juices and soft drinks. Dietary requirements handled on request.
Snorkelling gear
Masks, fins and snorkels for every guest, plus paddleboards and kayaks on many vessels.
Excursions
Ranger-led dragon treks and the Padar hike are part of the itinerary, not add-ons.
Fuel
Covered for a normal cruising day, commonly six to eight hours of engine time.

Two things worth confirming in writing
Where park fees sit — inside the rate or billed separately, the dated entry ticket being IDR 700,000 per person — and whether the deposit is refundable. Those two questions account for almost every unpleasant surprise in this market, and both take one sentence to answer.

What do you need from me?
Dates, group size and one priority. A rough budget helps but is optional.
Does it cost more to book through you?
No. You pay the operator's rate; the operator pays for the introduction.
How quickly will I hear back?
Usually within a day, with a shortlist rather than a request for more information.
When is my booking actually secure?
When a charter agreement is signed and the deposit clears with the operator. Not before, however warm the conversation.
Can I change my dates later?
Often, within the same season. Ask about amendment rather than cancellation — the terms are usually far better.
